Not wanting to be difficult (okay, maybe just a little) but people do this all the time. They call it Landscape Gardening. Heck, they’re even thinking of doing it to Mars under the guise of Terraforming! So why wouldn’t we want to do this in our inner landscape too? 🙂
And yes, my tongue is somewhat embedded in my cheek. I know what you mean. There’s a difference between moaning about something being wrong, and making steps to improve it.
