Self-Medication: Study Finds Deep Sleep ‘Rewires’ The Brain To Eliminate Anxiety

A study shows that sleep is indeed used to help the brain overcome obstacles and eliminate anxiety. It’s interesting however. I also think sometimes sleep can cause the opposite, anxiety after waking, whether it’s because of a lack of it or it following something like a bad dream.
