We live in a “fake” world

These two things looks at how fake news and misinformation is changing society. I believe and worry these kinds of things will also be used for some people to gain more control of the internet in the future, maybe sooner than I’m expecting if Trump and Twitter keep feuding.

Poll: Americans view fake news as a bigger problem than terrorism

With this it’s easy to see why the purge on YouTube is happening now. It’s crazy though! Sometimes it might not be about finding truth. Many times, each side has information the other doesn’t like and instead of debating or having a discourse, to reach a logical conclusion and agreement, they would rather label and censor. It’s more about stopping the other side!
